How do I migrate a CubeMX project from a series of MCU to a new series of MCU?

what do you mean by migrate a CubeMX project ? 

You can do the import of a project (import MX settings and Pinout/Clock Configuration Settings).

I think I have just found.

1) Create new project with the new MCU

2) Import old project into the new project with new MCU

Voilà!
