Hello. I just started using STM32CubeIDE.
It helps a lot in terms of pin configuration and code writing.
But every time I "Run" or "Debug" a bunch of random files open.
(For example: stm32f4xx_hal_ms.c, task.c, syscalls.c etc.)
Aside from slowing down my computer, it wastes extra time and is distracting. Is there any solution etc? I have visited many posts on this subject, but they all seem outdated and unresolved.

Hi,
https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/stm32cubeide-1-14-0-gt-old-issue/td-p/612850
When a freshly installed STM32IDE is started for the first time, it works without additional files being opened. Each subsequent "Run/Debug" opens the files.
The IDE has been doing this at least since Ver 1.0.2!
STM has "solved" this problem by opening a ticket. PTF (hand to face),
This has been an annoying problem for years! :(
sorry.

They said they would fix it ASAP but sadly 3 months have passed and it still hasn't been fixed.
