I created a STM32CubeIDE Project on Linux, Cant load into MacOS STM32CubeIDE

Michael Aric Uman
Associate

Hello,

I am having an issue with a project I created using STM32CubeIDE on my Linux development machine into my Apple Mac M1 system running the same version of the STM32CubeIDE. I have tried to determine why this is failing but have not found a reason.

Has anyone else run into this? I find it hard to believe this would be the case, maybe I am doing something wrong. My project is checked into my github account, if someone would like to attempt to build it on MacOS and succeeds, please tell me what you did to get the project to load. Now when I load I dont get anything loaded, it fails silently.

Here is the link to my project:

https://github.com/muman613/stm32-blinker1

It checks out and compiles fine on my Linux laptops, but fails miserably to load anything on MacOS. I initially suspected CR/LF issues to be the root cause, but upon inspection of the project files, this seemed unlikely.

Thank you,

Michael Uman

While waiting for more useful replies:

- delete the project from the workspace (on Mac)

- delete .settings

- Import the project into workspace again. Refresh.

Try to understand the output in the terminal pane. Any compile or make errors there?

If "fails" means that CubeIDE crashes - find the log.
