How to setup STM32CubdeIDE using ST Link V2 Debugger

  Could anyone advise how to setup STM32CudeIDE to debug my custom board using ST Link V2 ?

What are you saying here - is that a statement, or a question?

They're different programs and do different things. Not sure the exact reason matters here. CubeIDE does more checking of the device. This is surely intentional, as ST doesn't care for people selling counterfeit devices. It's unfortunate that users can get hoodwinked in this manner. Since you bought it from Amazon, there is likely some recourse for you.

I try on the F407 DISCO board, same issue: can download the code but CubeIDE cant detect STlink V2, confirm SRLink V2 is fake! suck!  the 2.9v isit an issue ?
