Hi @VUnni.1
to complete the answer from @Kevin HUBER , any "USB Type-C compliant" supply rated above 5V/3A will work.
Supply rated 5V/3A , 9V/2.77A (or above) will work as well. Per USB standard, supply must start with a default 5V when pull-down on CC line is detected. The 9V or above voltage will be enabled only after successful 'power delivery' negotiation (which obviously is not done by STM32MP157x-DKx boards).
Even if rated 5V/3A, supply with Type-A socket with a Type-A <-> Type-C cable are usually showing warning (blinking led) but could work (but sometimes not recognized and uboot will stop).
This (old) post could help you.

Hello @VUnni.1 ,
If you look at the user manual of your board page 10:
https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/dm00652742-.pdf
It is recommended to
use a USB Type-C® to USB Type-C® 5 V/3 A charger.
Otherwise, we can't guarantee whether it will work or not.
Best Regards,
Kevin
