Hello,
We are in the process of developing a smart meter that will feature dual communication capabilities supporting both Wireless M-Bus (wMbus) and LoRaWAN. Our aim is to use a single chip for this purpose, with the advantage of sharing the same antenna. In this setup, LoRaWAN takes precedence over wMbus in terms of priority.
For selecting suitable components for this project, we are considering chipsets that offer integration of both wMbus and LoRaWAN functionalities. Additionally, we are looking for antennas that provide optimal performance across the frequency bands used by both protocols.
Could you please suggest specific chipsets and antennas that align with these requirements?
Thank you.

Hello @alias_bibin and welcome to the ST Community :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:.
I suggest you take a look at the STM32WLE5/E4 and STM32WL55/54 lines that enable the design of cost-efficient connected devices running LoRaWAN and W-MBUS certified stacks or other proprietary or standardized sub-GHz protocols.
Best Regards.

Hello,
please find the requirements :
Transmission frequency | 868MHz |
Protocol | Sigfox Verified & Sigfox Ready |
LoRaWANTM certified with a communication profile of Class “A” "Aloha"
is this chip support these 2 protocols? is any communication error happen while try to transfer data by these two protocol by same time?
