Updating STM32WB5x\stm32wb5x_BLE_Mac_802_15_4_fw.bin fus firmware is very slow ((p-nucleo-wb55), how we can decrease flashing duration

Flashing stm32wb5x_BLE_Mac_802_15_4_fw.bin (233Kb) in P-Nucleo-wb55 takes about 47.82s through JTAG and SWD, I modified the frequency but I didn't get any improvement.

I wonder if there are any configurations or flash methods to decrease flashing duration.

Hello,

I mean you are using STM32CubeProgrammer, can you describe between which action you are measuring the duration? You can use the FUS_CLI tool available on STM32 Hotspot Github which allow to interact with FUS using FUS commands in order to perform some actions:

  • Upgrade the current Wireless Stack or FUS
  • Delete the installed Wireless Stack
  • Switch between FUS and Wireless Stack
