I asked the same at the Embedded World Nürnberg and was assured that WBA is not replacing WB. Which makes sense, because we are talking about a singlecore solution vs. a multicore solution. The former means adhering to very tight timing restrictions on your own code (I think the rule is to not block interrupts for more than 4µs), which might no always be possible.
