How create devEUI for public Lora network?

I have one product with inside the module Murata CMW. The product will be present on a public Lora network. The product is a sensor, so it will trasmit data

I need to go in mass production and I need to create the devEUI for each device

How I can create it?

I see there is method to create the devEUI from a MAC address (that I have avaiable), but it's deprecated

The method is use one MAC adding FF and FE on the 4th and 5th byte and turning to 1 the 7th bit of first byte.

Is there other valid method to create the devEUI witout problem?

I have same problem, we have been having an OUI for many years for mac adresses, can we can use for DevEUI ?
