Hello,
I use two Evaluation boards STEVAL-FKI433V2 and now there is a task to order simpler and more compact PCB.
The STEVAL-FKIxxx Gerber archive
https://www.st.com/resource/en/board_manufacturing_specification/steval-fki433v2_gerber.zip
includes the file STEVAL-FKI433V2.G1, which contains GROUND plain, as is described in STEVAL-FKI433V2.EXTREP.
As I know, 4-layer PCB is simpler to order than 3-layer PCB.
This PCB may be routed using only 2 layers.
Question1: Has Evaluation board STEVAL-FKI433V2 three layers?
Question2: Are the GROUND holes THROUGH or BLIND type (if the Plane GROUND layer is used)?
Question3: Is the use of 2-layer PCB for S2-LP on 433MHz (without GROUND PLANE layer) a wrong decision?

The questions are solved. I cut some part of PCB and divided it for the layers. The PLANE layer is placed approximately 0.3mm under TOP layer.
