It would be very useful if STM32WL had a module like STM32WBxM. Knowing the answer to this question will be useful for planning our R&D.

I've heard talk of a module level LoRa from ST, but why not use one from long-term partner like Murata whose likely to have more staying power?
Haystack's built a STM32WL clone of the Murata L0+SX1276 device over a year ago. I could see RAK Wireless doing something.
ST has a long history of being extremely flighty when it comes to wireless, and modules, I certainly wouldn't commit any resources to relying on ST, or tying any delivery deadlines to them for products I have to deliver. The only reason not to use the chips directly would be side-step FCC requirements one's self. ST's business is chips, find a reliable partner who can do modules.
Plan on doing the job properly, and on your own terms..

interesting question and answer, may I ask if we can get more info about the ST LoRa module?
