Anti-Rollback feature

I need to express my frustration with this feature. For some reason, I accidentally activated the anti-rollback feature. Now, when I try to update the new firmware, I am unable to write a new one. As a result, it's completely bricked for any future wireless applications.

Hello @ItachiThuan

Sorry for what happened to you. When Anti-rollback is activated, it locks the version of wireless stack that can be installed. It is impossible to install any wireless stack with a version lower than the current one. For example, if wireless stack V1.9.0 is installed, when Anti-rollback is activated, only wireless stacks with versions V1.9.0 or higher can be installed (it is no longer possible to install, for example, V1.8.0). So, if you activate the Anti-rollback with a wireless stack correctly installed and not deleted. you can still use the wireless stacks with equal or higher versions than the version of the Stack installed before the activation of the Anti-rollback.

Best Regards.

Yes, the problem is that even though the wireless stack was installed correctly. If something "abnormal" happens after erasing the old wireless and before writing a new one, the device will also be bricked, which is unacceptable.

This does not have anything to do with the Anti-Rollback, you should always ensure that a Stack is available before activating the Anti-Rollback feature.

Best Regards.
