Since N25Q128A is obselete and the alternative at the moment is MT25Q128A,
would a different driver may be needed to run TouchGFX on custom hardware ?
I have no experience related to QSPI Flash, if I soldered a MT25Q128A IC into the place of N25Q128A on STM32f746 disco-board will it run no problem ?

The parts report the same ID, I'm using the same code to program them.
Datasheet and code could be compared also.
You should be able to replace the part on the board.

Hi, thanks for your reply
have you created your custom hardware and used MT25Q128A instead of N25Q128A ?

I've wired sockets and adapters to NUCLEO boards, and programmed RW207 marked devices.
