i am trying to update touch gfx from 4.21.1 to 4.21.4 , but still the recognised as 4.21.1 designer project. says "The project you are trying to open is version 4.21.4, however this version is unknown and cannot be opened or upgraded to version 4.21.1."

Make sure to uninstall all versions of TouchGFX, then re-install it. Maybe this is the cause of your problem.
