I'm not sure what the red line is in your image. If it's a part of what you're trying to do, but if you check one of the circular examples, you'll see that you can "fill" each of the elements in your gauge by having a canvas element below an image with transparency in the areas you want to show.

If you check out the example it should become apparent.
