Presumably you mean the STM32F429I-DISC board?
The manual should indicate all of the free/available pins on the board.
Likely to be very limited as LCD+SDRAM eat most of the pins.

I'm not sure how interfacing a 4x4 key pad on an STM32 differs materially from doing it on any other MCU from the last 3 decades.
You presumably want to find 4 output pins and 4 input pins in the simplest implementation.
Or drive the outputs via a 2-to-4 decoder type IC
Seem to recall there being chips these days that would drive 8-led and offer and bunch or inputs/outputs.
Also perhaps an I2C Bus Expander type chip?
Going to START with you pulling the MANUAL for the board and identifying the free/available pins to do things with..
