ST has told me that the Ulink-me can not be used for the STM3210B-EVAL kit.

Then you know it :)

Hi

I just got a new kit (STM3210B-EVAL) to play with, but my ''old'' Ulink-me JTAG doesn´t seem to work with it. If I set the boot-switches to system memory, I can download to the uC, but I can not debug or execute the program. I cannot download if the switces are set to user flash?

The kit came with a J-link JTAG from Segger, but do I need to use this? Need a License then :(

Please can you tell me if Ulink-me is for a specific evaluation board. Or why you can not used it.

Thanks

Hi

It came out, that it could be used anyway, but if it is used with the STM3210B-MCKIT, you cannot use the optical print, if you want to debug. Then you have to connect the ulink-me direct to EVAL-kit ;)

Then I can buy one ulinkME for a LPC evaluation board and late I can connect to a STR750 ot STM32 without problems?

What is the diference betwen ulink and ulink ME?

Thanks

:)

ULINK2 offers all the features of the original ULINK USB-JTAG Adapter plus 10MHz JTAG clock, RTCK support, Serial Wire Debug (SWD) support, Serial Wire Viewer (Trace) support, and a real-time agent.

ULINK-ME is a reduced version of ULINK2 that only supports ARM-processor based devices using a 20-pin 0.1 inch connector.

ULINK has been replaced by ULINK2.

I dont know about the other microcontrollers, but I´m sure that you can connect to the stm32 using ULink-me

Then I buy an Ulik Me because both are the same for ARM.

thanks, very useful answer . :)

Hi All,

ULink-ME is fully compatible with all STM32 boards and is the latest one from Keil/ARM in terms of features. In addition to its cheap costn, compact small size and you can power your board through its internal VDD ( 3.3volts) from your USB 5Volts.

Cheers, STOne-32 :p

But Ulink-me can only be used with Keil uVision??

and not if you e.g. are using the GCC compiler?
