The official release of STM32G4 was scheduled for the 20th week of 2019, but now we are in the 21st week and there is still nothing.
Any problems?
Andrea

Nice chip - decent speed in a 48 pin package. Pity it only has SPDIF out for audio use, but otherwise looks good. Bit expensive though.

Thanks, I didn't find it on Digikey. The only problem could be the shipment from the USA that could be subject to duties and other taxes for importation into Italy.

Digikey (at least in the UK) have a scheme where they import complete shipments to the UK and pay the taxes themselves, then send the parts on to you. You still pay the duties in the total price but it avoids the handling charges.

Thanks @Community member and @MikeDB , I was able to buy the latest cards NUCLEO-G4 ** on Digikey.
Now I can start playing too !! ;)

You mean SAI? It's not only for SPDIF, but has all needed audio protocols. And for audio it's much more functional and flexible than SPI/I2S peripherals.

Look at section 3.32.

No. Some other STM32s have an SAI and independant SPDIF so you can have an audio bus, ADC/DAC and and S/PDIF I/O to connect to other devices. As far as I can see you have to choose two out of three with the G series.
