VDE Certification for STM32 Class B
2011-05-17 03:25 AM
Hello STOne32,
I read with interest: http://www.st.com/mcu/files/mcu/1196432924.pdf http://www.st.com/stonline/stappl/cms/press/news/year2007/p2230.htm http://www.st.com/mcu/inchtml-pages-stm32_classb.html Where can I get these approved self test routines ? (My application is control of class IV laser systems. Not quite ''white goods'' I know, but anything that helps this safety critical (must fail safe) product would be useful.) Thank you.2011-05-17 03:25 AM
Must be vapour ware, I've heard nothing.

Hello Arm_Wrestler,
Could you please contact our Online-support services and get contact with ST support in your region to get these Routines. In fact, we would like just to record all requests asking for them to be able to maintain a tracking process and work in parterneship with our customers in this domain. Best Regards, STOne-322011-05-17 03:25 AM
did you get no answer from web support? I contacted them very early on monday to ask for the field-oriented motor control library and they didn't get back to me. and with the holidays I can't believe I'm gonna have to wait ten days at least to get it. I don't know what I'm gonna do, I needed to work through the holidays.

I got an automatic response to my support enquiry.
I then got a reply saying my local ST agent would sort me out. I then got a support survey form to fill out, I said that nothing had happened yet. After 2 weeks, as for sorting out my original request, ''crickets'' ;)2011-05-17 03:25 AM
you're way ahead. I'm stuck on level one, with the automated response. how do you get pass it? do you have cheat codes?

It seems that my company anti spam filter has been deleting e-mails to me with .exe extensions.
That is why I never received the VDE self test libs from ST. I have got them now, thank you to all those who tried to help me. It looks very interesting indeed.2014-05-07 10:56 PM
