Hello,
For STM32U5A5QJI6Q, can we use a Normal SPI Flash instead of Octal SPI Flash? We are asking this question as we want to use Normal SPI Flash to reduce size and cost.

Yes, you can use a SPI flash chip with STM32 as long as it has an SPI interface. You may not be able to enable memory mapped mode like you can for some octospi flash.
