Unable to program NUCLEO-H7A3ZI board

Hello everyone,

During some test I try to change the type of the StLink-V3 of the NUCLEO-H7A3ZI board to "STM32 Debug + VCP"

After this I can't flash or connect to the board even if I update back to "STM32 Debug + MAss storage + VCP".

I try to erease the flash content using STM32CubeProgrammer, after that I can connect the debugger and flash a SW :

Erasing memory corresponding to segment 0:
Erasing internal memory sector 0

The Flash succed but the target is not responding.

I also try only with a new empty project, so the SW is not the problem.

Did you have any idea how to programm again this board ?

Hello,

Not sure what you did before that issue to occur but ensure you configured the correct power supply in SMPS. Do you confirm that?

Thanks for your answer.

The only thing I do before the issue is to change the STLink firmweare.

@SofLit the supply source is configured as Direct SMPS supply

@STTwo-32 I try this procedure and after that I can flash the board but once it is flashed I get the error:

Target is not responding, retrying...
