Posted on December 20, 2015 at 03:02The STM43F7 Discovery board is well suited for use in audio synthesis.
It has enough memory and enough processing power to produce audio, the peripherals to channel that audio to headphones or an onboard or external amplifier, and the cpu cycles to implement IIR filters on the output.
Attached is a zip file with .hex and .elf files for a TouchPad Synthesizer that runs on the STM32F7 Discovery board.
It has several waveforms, ADSR envelope adjustment, and adjustable binaural beat frequency between the left and right channels.
Also attached is the source code usable in the EmBitz build environment.
