Hi
i designed schematic for stm32f407 and usb 3317 but i dont know how to connect their port together...please help me...Thanks2013-08-21 01:58 AM
Have you looked at the STM3240G-EVAL schematics (USB_OTG_HS.SchDoc)? It's a different chip but the signals look similar.

what connector should i use for usb3317?is the 475900001 good for it from the point of speed?

Assuming you mean the MOLEX Part Number: 47590-0001 Micro-USB AB Receptacle, Right Angle, Top Mount, SMT, Lead-Free - why not if it suits your needs. It seems to be what ST used.
Before you ask me another question, I haven't designed or built High Speed USB. You should look at guidance on the internet regarding controlled impedance connections and tracking. See FTDI's website and look up AN_146_USB_Hardware_Design_Guidelines_for_FTDI_ICs.pdf. Good luck.2013-08-21 08:21 AM

Download the User Manual UM1461: STM3240G-EVAL for the STM3240G-EVAL Evaluation board for STM32 F4 series - with STM32F407IG MCU evaluation board from ST's web site. The schematics are on the later pages.

I'm not authorized to do that, what I posted should adequately show the STM32 side connectivity.
I've seen others with pretty much direct connections on the USB, but that doesn't strike me as a very industrial solution. I would probably suggest you look at other USB3300 reference designs.2014-07-26 09:55 AM
Updating the USB3300 section from the current
