STM32F030 input protection diodes

Hello!

I've been reading through the reference manual of the F030 and noticed the structure of the GPIOs ... I've noticed they don't have any input protection diodes. The F100 and others have two clamping diodes on 3.3V and 5V tolerant pins. Do they really have no protection? How to they survive ESD events?

thanks

I'd suspect the diagram has just be over simplified for the target audience, they are still there. If you hit any of the parts with sufficient energy the silicon is going to evaporate, if you need stronger protection you'd want to add it externally. Things that people touch like USB connectors, or SD Card sockets, being specific areas of concern.
