Dear users,
I recently got a present - STM324x9I-EVAL board. So far I've been tinkering with Arduino's and made some mini projects. But this one surprised me - I saw almost no references and ''how-to'' online (in comparison to Arduino platform). Could someone, please, guide me to a tutorial for this board. I got IAR Workbench here, but the example codes somehow don't want to compile. #stm324x9i-eval-example-first2015-03-16 04:49 AM

I guess they presume the high-end vehicle purchaser can drive?http://www.st.com/web/en/catalog/tools/PF259093

Unfortunately, I don't see how this information can help me. Previously I tried a simple LED project on this board - that worked. Yay, for me! But I can't get the screen working. More precisely, I can get the background color to change, but nothing more... I presume it's because I've set-up the project incorrectly at some point. Hence, I think that I need a step-by-step guide on how to set it up.

The DSP library contains dozens of examples for your board and tool chain. Perhaps you should look for tutorials on the tool chain first.
Searching on ''IAR + STM324x9I-EVAL'' isn't likely to get may hits. The demo code build for the board was under NDA as I recall, so you might try contacting your local ST reps or FAEsOn the graphical side there should be STemWin examples.Failing that search on companies offering ARM/Cortex training.
