STM3210E-EVAL External Data RAM Update!
2011-05-17 04:22 AM
So I've upgraded the RIDE7 software and the RKit to the latest versions that were just released, and I still cannot get the Data in RAM examples to work on the STM3210E-EVAL board that I have.
All data in RAM is 0xFFFFFFFF... which means the linker is doing things correctly, but the RAM is not working! The loop doesn't even get through one iteration because index = 0xFFFFFFFF. Never worked before, doesn't work with the new release. Anyone else try this? :-?2011-05-17 04:22 AM
Don't use Ride - in absence of ''real help'' maybe this will assist...
Look at other toolchains (specifically IAR, Keil) and see if they have solutions for this Ap. If so - perhaps you can download ''free'' version of either - and see how ''other guy'' does it. If you succeed - maybe then you can better solve the problem w/in Ride... (sorry - best I can offer)2011-05-17 04:22 AM
I purchased the RLink tool for development. I don't think it works with IAR. I guess I cam make a HEX and use RIDE7 to program the chip.
