In what context?
The RM0368 Reference manual for STM32F401xB/C and STM32F401xD/E gives timing diagrams to show you what it means when it says, ''TI Mode''
A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.

Texas Instruments specific SPI data and clock phase relationships? Used by other manufacturer's too, but well defined and consistent application from TI
