Problem: Not generating files

The STM32Cube does not generate some .c and .h files for my code.

I'm using MDK-ARM V5 toolchain for my project.Whenever I try to create another project the missing files change in random fashion, sometimes its mxconstants.h, another time it's stm32F4xx_hal_conf.h.I've read in older discussion that some people had this problem before, but no solution was presented. Can someone please help me.

My man! You nailed it. Every time i turn off the anti-virrus I can compile my project.

Hello, it has been some time that this thread used.

But as of today I have encountered a similar problem.

Using QMX (4.27.0) as ecclipse plugin in either TRUE STUDIO and/or STM32Workbench, QMX never generates the mxconstants.h file. After creating multiple projects (STM32F303 / STM32F4....) there is no such file on my system.

I have set up a dedicated Laptop for programming STM32 from scratch with Win10 about two weeks ago.

I have tried all the solution mentioned above without success.

Does anybody still have the same problem? Any suggestiones on how to solve it?

Sorry, my bad (or not; read a tutorial that was set up about a year ago.

Now it´s all in "main.h".

Did take me a couple of hours though to find out that ST made changes to the file structure.
