I recently upgraded to a new version, 4.20, and its has been giving us a lot of issues. Unfortunately I deleted 4.18 installer, Is it possible to provide a download link to an older version of the cube?
I am working on a commercial product and things like these are a big time sink for us.

That is true for the FW packages but not for the CubeMX itself, or I'm blind. For me it only lists the current 4.20.

Hi
Rudolf.Markus
The feature to archive older versions is not available for CubeMx.
Indeed, it is not possible to get back to an older CubeMx version unless you kept it on your computer.
So,don't hesitate to save CubeMX versions on which you worked to keepseveral versions.

Hello
I had problems with sources that CubeMX v4.21 generated for me and usage of older version helped me to solve the most of them. (The project at least compiled and show some working results)I decided that this discussion can be a good place for the list of the previous CubeMX versions.
By the way, I recommend using the firmware package with CubeMX which was available during the release of the package.

the firmware packages v1.14)

I have a mirror of quite a number of CubeMX releases, and the libraries too. If you need something restartable due to internet outage or long down load times, I can probably post as a torrents.
ST's server performance seems to much better in recent weeks, so server/connectivity might have been changed or upgraded. I know Keil uses Amazon to host downloads.

Hello Clive,
It seems that CubeMX 4.24 does not work well with TrueStudio v9.0.0, as mentioned in this post:
https://community.st.com/0D50X00009XkWopSAF
Would you happen to have the previous CubeMX v4.23 available for download?
That would be greatly appreciated.

Therefore, keep your original CubeMX installation zip file, and thereafter each time you allow CubeMX to update, also log into the ST website and download that version of CubeMX. That way you'll have a means of returning to previous versions of CubeMX when you encounter a version that is broken beyond use. Furthermore, always backup your CubeMX projects before using a new version of CubeMX because *.ioc files written by a given version of CubeMX cannot be opened by previous versions. If you don't do this, then when you encounter a version of CubeMX that doesn't work, you are likely to lose all the projects that you (a) opened and saved, and (b) opened and recreated, with that version.I hope that helps clarify the situation. Please let me know if I've got something wrong. It is based on my experience.
Please forward this message to the CubeMX developers (or a link to this thread) so that they know the trouble they are causing. I think it would help the Cube and CubeMX product quality if they saw things more from the user's viewpoint than they currently do.Cheers,

I wonder how much of the burden should be on the cube developers, vs. users.
I mean it has to be crazy for anyone to use something so persistently invasive.
If a piece of software insists on automatically update, it better be near bug free. Otherwise, the user should have a say on if an update is to take place.
Relying on buggy software that insists on automatically update is an expensive proposition, and a cost to development.

Does anyone have a copy of cubeMX v4.15.1 ?
Thanks
