Looping USART TX to USART RX: uC stopped in STM32F4xx_usart.c

Hello,

I initialised on USART3 a communication port for TX and RX. This is working fine : I can send messages and receive messages from another device (at the same UART speed of course).

But try to link the USART3 TX to the USART3 RX of the same board. When I send a message on RX, the uC is stopped in the STM32F4xx_usart.c driver.

I don't understand why this operation can't works. Do you ever try it ? Thanks for your advices !

Ok really sorry guys I find my error: There was a ''hidden'' usart echo on my code... I would have guessed...
