Launching the application doesn't work when "Build (if required) before launching" option is not checked.

It doesn't work even when I manually do the build just before launching.

It doesn't work properly when checked either, because the build process is repeated each time although it's completely redundant, since the executable file is built and there are no unsaved changes to the code.
