Is there some sort of foiling problem with PA6 on the NUCLEO-L496ZG board?

Is there some sort of foiling problem with PA6 on the NUCLEO-L496ZG board? I am trying to setup PA6 to be the OPAMP2 positive input. There always seems to be 3 volts stuck on this pin with nothing connected. PA0 works just fine when configured for OPAMP1 plus input. I even bought another board and same thing. Applying signals to both pins yields correct adc readings but OPAMP1 out is just always biased. I have tried everything! I'm using latest CubeMX

Foiling?

You have anything plugged into the headers of the board?

No. with the adafruit LCD removed the voltage still there. if it's not short its a pin mapping setup problem.

code attached from cube, have a look please.

a function generator is injecting identical signals onto pins PA0 and PA6.

the SPI pins from the LCD are cut below the PCB. I move connections to another SPI port.
