hardware buttons to move in a screen and let me choose a picture as sub menu.

Hi,I want to make a menu with 6 images and 3 hardware buttons which can move within the pictures to select a picture for example the first image is selected a new screen appears, that is fine but my problem is how can I move within the pictures by physical buttons ,

Can some one help me?
