Perhaps the project was created with/for another version of the IAR toolchain (assuming it was not hastily setup in a bad manner by ST).

The missing include files would be easy to fix. Just add the appropriate folders to the include search path list in the GUI (I'm no IAR user ...).

That looks like environment variable definitions that are expected to contain the name/path of some tool. CMSIS-DAP is the debug interface used at Freescale's FRDM boards, so I guess you don't need that.
