CubeMX - missing Main.c file

Hello everyone,

Bought a STM32F4 Discovery board. Downloaded the STM32CubeMX software and the F4 data pack. Decided to start simple and blink an LED. Started up the Cube, selected my board, told it I was going to use Keil uVision5 as my tool chain, and clicked the Generate code button. Told it to open the Keil project, and the first thing the Keil ARM_MDK complained about was the fact there was NO Main.c file for it to open. I thought the Cube loaded all the code needed to use the buttons, LED's, etc. on the board. Is there something else I need to do?

Hi DuaneB,

1-Could you please verify if it is a recurrent issue or faced only one time?

2-If the issue is recurrent, Could you share your *.ioc file for check?

Hi Syrine,

Thanks for the reply. I need to see what is going on with the computer at home. I loaded STM32CubeMX on my computer, at work, and was able to create it. I'll let you know what the results are.
