I am trying to implement CAN Wakeup functionality. I have used MCP2562 Transceiver. I understand MCU will PU the stdby pin of Transceiver before going to sleep. By Pulling Up stdby pin, Transceiver will be in low power state and can still send signal on CAN RX pin.
As the bus goes Dominant, the CAN Rx pin will be pulled down. But how the MCU will get interrupt to wakeup. As the pin is already assigned as CAN Rx, we can not used this pin as falling edge trigger.
Another strategy to implement wakeup I see is using optocoupler on bus with edge trigger interrupt on MCU pin, but I trying to avoid this method.
