Posted on June 14, 2016 at 17:09Tried to post a reply to my older posting asking about this but it says ''page not found'' hence the new post. I think I found the issue. Down in the bowels of WM8994 setup the driver is setting registers 0x29 and 0x2a to 0x0035 which mixes in some output. Setting to 0x0030 mutes that output path and seems to eliminate the funny audio feedback.
