AN2824: Application note - STM32F10xxx I2C optimized examples
''This application note applies to STM32F101xx and STM32F103xx medium, high and XL density microcontrollers, STM32F105/107xx connectivity line and STM32F100xx value line devices.''Is it also applicable to STM32F411?Comparing the RM0008 (for F10x) and RM0383 (for F411), it looks like it probably is.See also:/6d281e24

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.
A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

Hi neil.andrew,
Besides to the reference manuals, you have to refer to the errata sheet of both products to know limitations. The main features should be the same, I2C in STM32F411 should have less limitations than the one in STM32F1.-Mayla-To give better visibility on the answered topics, please click on Accept as Solution on the reply which solved your issue or answered your question.
