Powering STSPIN32G4

Dear Community,

I'm using a custom board based on the EVSPIN32G4 with an STLINK-V3MODS probe.

I want to power the LDO using only the 5V from USB, just to flash the microcontroller.

My REGN voltage is 4V(VUSB), but the 3.3V output from the LDO is 0V.

I don't understand why. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Hello @Cedd,

Did you check the "Standby linear regulator" chapter of stspin32g4 datasheet ?

Hello @GMA,

My MCU is not programmed yet. I would like to be able to do it for series production.

I assume we are therefore using the default conditions. The standby linear regulator is disabled, and the LDO should be enabled.

Note: I am able to program it if I enable VM in my schematic above.
