I can't complete ST Motor Profiling

Hello,

Hardware : NUCLEO-G474RE + X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1 + DollaTek 2204 BLDC motor

Software : Motor Control Benchwork 6.2.1, STM32CubeIDE 1.13.1

When I try to start motor profiling the motor starts to produce radom beeps, vibrations and accidental spins. The profiling reaches 28% and then the motor stays in that state forever. What can I change to make the motor rotate correctly and to finish profiling successfully?

Hello @mikde,

Could you confirm that you paid attention to properly configure your IHM08 board in 3 shunts (J5 J6) ? 

It is the only option supported by the profiler, but by default the IHM08 is configured in Single shunt.

Yes, I soldered both jumpers in 3Sh position

Hello @mikde 

The procedure I follow to profile a motor:

1.Choosing a random motor, the power board, and the control board.

2.Checking motor profiler in the workbench

3.Reducing the baudrate of the USART to 115200

4.Reducing the PWM frequency from 30kHz to 16kHz

5.Downloading the flash and profiling the motor.

Most of the time, the baudrate causes me trouble.
