How to change the name of the USB in device manager.

Hi

I am using the STM32L4 and using the Cubemx for initialisation and the USB as a virtual serial port. When the USB cable is connected I can see the name appear in the device manager under the Ports (windows 10). How can I change what name is displayed within the device manager?

In Windows 10, options to make a custom name visible in UI are limited, if standard in-box drivers are installed.

The best UI view to see the custom names is "devices and printers".

Yes, it does, but this name is visible only in device manager details view ("Bus reported device description").
