For my TDR thesis design, I need to generate two pulses with independently configurable start times and pulse widths. The pulse generator for the TDR stimulus signal is a fast gate driver, and the sampler is a TDC-GP22 time-to-digital converter.
Because the GP22 requires 3.5 ns of setup time between its START input and the first valid measurement window, it must be triggered slightly ahead of the stimulus pulse. The goal is therefore a function that fires the GP22 trigger 3.5 ns before the gate driver launches the test signal, ensuring the TDC is armed and ready at the moment the reflection arrives.
To achieve the required timing precision, I plan to implement this using the HRTIM peripheral in single-shot mode on my NUCLEO-G474RE. The problem is that I couldn't find any examples on using the single-shot mode.
Thank you in advance for the help!
