This has happened with version 3.9 and 4.0 (even though they were supposed to fixed windows 10 compatibility). I get: Faulting application name: IDriver.exe, version: 8.1.0.293, time stamp: 0x3e59d7bfFaulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000Exception code: 0xc000041dIn event viewer. Anyone else had this issue? I've tried compatibility, no dice. #stm32f4 #st-link

I reported a problem yesterday with ST-Link Utility v4.0.0 crashing on Connect. I had no problems installing v4.0.0 on Windows 10, more than 10 times, without a reboot.
It consistently crashes for me, and I have a short term workaround as detailed in my entry in this forum. I had rolled back to v3.8.0 a couple of times in the process of documenting my observations of the crash. Maybe this is due to synchronization problem in the web:When I downloaded the version 4.0.0 without login (by simply providing name and e-mail address) I have the version 3.9.0 (sized 18Mb) instead the latest one.But, when I downloaded with login, I have successfully installed the version 4.0.0So, you should login before to download the needed version ST-Link Utility and check that you have the version 4.0.0 (not 3.9.0) with size 24Mb.Please try the download with login and let me know if it is OK with this suggestion.Regards
