Hello everyone, I was wondering if there is a way to effectively get the power consumption of the STM323H747-DISCO when it is running over a period of time?
When I am using STM32CubeMX and creating a project, I noticed the Tools tab (cf. picture) with different parameters (voltage, frequency, intensity, etc) and also sequence. Though I have difficulties understanding the ins and outs of it and how sequence time works for example (does it represent the time the chip is running?).
If someone would be kind to explain the tab to me, and if it is a way to measure the power consumption of the chip, would be very much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
see circuit... :
If you remove jumper and connect DMM , on DC Amp or mA range, you see the actual real consumption.

From simulation -- in Tools tab -- you can set any speed/peripheral to use in a "step" (maybe set 10ms time) and then see, what should be the consumption with this settings. So you can do a step with low core speed and no peripherals active or at hi speed and all you want to use enabled, to see, what will happen .
