Does STM32H747I-DISCO Comply with EMI/EMC Standards?

Dhanu_bhosale

Hello everyone,

I’m using the STM32H747I-DISCO development board for evaluation and prototyping. I would like to know whether this board has undergone any form of EMI/EMC certification (e.g., CE, FCC, CISPR) or internal EMI testing by ST.

Specifically, my questions are:

  1. Is the STM32H747I-DISCO compliant with any EMI/EMC regulations?

  2. Can this board be used in pre-compliance EMI testing or EMI-sensitive environments?

  3. What are ST's recommended practices or references for designing a production-grade board using the STM32H747 that complies with EMI/EMC requirements?

I understand that development boards are generally not certified for end-product use, but I would like to confirm the official stance and request any available documentation or layout guidelines focused on EMI/EMC compliance.

Thanks in advance for your support and guidance!

Have you read the Terms of Use for the evaluation boards?

You didn't look at the User Manual, then?

Not just "generally" - as @RobK1 said, the Terms of Use specifically prohibit this!

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.
A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.
