Maybe have a look at the Nucleo-144 boards https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/stm32-nucleo-boards.html

No, I'm looking for the 144 pins in DIP.

I'm looking for an adapter for that microcontroller not a test board

I never heard of DIP144.

Are you looking for something like https://www.waveshare.com/product/mcu-tools-2/core407z.htm ?

I have seen this but I was looking for something cheaper

https://www.waveshare.com/stm32-qfp144.htm

The price for this is given by the ZIF socket, they are never cheap.

OK! Thanks

You can find LQFP fan out boards on eBay and Amazon, you are still going to need to solder parts on them.

Seen Dual in Line boards for 64 pin devices on Hackaday.

As Jan indicates the clamshell socket are generally not cheap. Consider other breakout boards.

Bellin Dynamic (beldynsys.com) sells a collection of such adapters. The B518/9 look like they (the boards) can operate either (4-row) DIP or quad, but don't trust me. Mouser carries some/most of them.

Nice collection they have, thanks for the info. I have some simpler on the shelve, but t's good to know these things are out there, in case...
