Hello.
I would like to ask about the procedure to exit the stand-by mode of STGAP2HD. It seems that the procedure described in the datasheet does not work.
We can enter the stand-by by setting INA, INB, and BRAKE high while keeping the SD low for 1,5 ms. We can see that the driver enters stand-by as it will not switch if we send any pulses on the input.
But then we are not able to exit the stand-by. We set the INA and INB low for several seconds while keeping the BRAKE high and SD low. Then we set INA, INB, and BRAKE high for 100 us while keeping SD low. Then we set the INA and INB low. It should be exactly as described in the datasheet, but the driver still will not switch if we send any pulses on the input.
Therefore I would like to ask if there is a mistake in the datasheet because we are following the procedure but we are unable to exit the standby.
