hello,

in fact i can't fill the command/build/rebuild all lines in the toolchain settings.

My question would be: are they the ones which are present in cosmic ?

Hi noscreen,

any news on building phase? Did you succeed on producing the binary file?

Tanio

Hello,

As i'm using the ST7FMC2N6B6 microcontroller, can someone tell me how should i manage to avoid that a .share segment and a .const segment get overlapped?

My only problem now with compiling the project is due to the fact that these two segments are located as following:

-.share segment (0xffe0 - 0x1000c)

-.const segment (0xffce - 0xffee)

Thank you

Hi,

I'm so surprised there's no longer nobody to help me fix my problem...

Why?

Thanks a lot anyway ;)

Hi,

please, consider the attached picture that represents a screen shot of the STVD7 tool, where you can define the memory segment addresses. It was retrieved by provided Motor Control libraries given with ST7MC Starter Kit software.

Tanio

Hi Tanio,

I thank you for your reply..

I got another question...

Do the functions written have first to be fully built in Cosmic before being transferred in STVD7 to continue to process the project or isn't it necessary?

I answer this question 'cause there's no possibility to compile any .c file with STVD7.

As it can't find the object files i don't know how to proceed.

In stvd7 when i want to debug, i got a ''error creating the process error'' message.

What could it be due to?

Hi Tanio,

In fact the ST7MC-Kit BLDC that i had didn't feature the same version of STVD7. It was STVD7 for Indart STX and not STVD7. The options and the tools weren't similar at all!!!

Now i've just downloaded the one you use.

Thanks. I'm going to try to manage with the right one
