Dear STM Team,

Please answer to my below queries:

1. Can you please let me know the maximum frequency can be provided to IPS1025HTR-32 and VN750PSTR-E to enable or drive high side switch?

2. Can we drive these switches at lower duty cycle up to 1%?

Regards,

Prakat

Welcome @Prakat, to the community!

  1. The frequency results from the rise time, the fall time and the on-time. If you select for the on-time min 4...5 times trmax+tfmax = 480...600µs, thus a shortest period duration of 600...720µs, resulting in a practically usable frequency of 1.39...1.67kHz. Of course, you can also assume a shorter on-time, but then the rise and fall times will be more noticeable.
  2. The relative duty cycle can be as small as you like, but its useful absolute time value is the 600...720µs specified in answer 1. If you assume this to be 1%, this results in a period duration (one period = 100%) of 60...72ms, i.e. 13.9...16.7Hz.

/Peter
