Hello Wyoun

I translated the post through an automated tool:

"How to set L6208 full-step, one-phase on (wave drive) mode"

Could you confirm this is your question?

In this case, please edit the post with the English version. This will help other users looking for the same solution.

Assuming the question is the one above:

The L6208 integrates a state machine implementing full-step, half-step and wave drive.

Full-step and half step are easily selected through the dedicated HALF/nFULL input: high level imposes half-step driving and low level full-step.

The wave mode is set forcing low the HALF/nFULL input when the integrated state machine is in one of the even states.

The simplest way to enable it is to start from the state 1 (default status after a power up or a RESET pulse), then apply one pulse to the CLOCK input while HALF/nFULL is high. This moves the state machine to the state 2 or 8, according to the CW/CCW input.

Now the HALF/nFULL input is forced and kept low imposing the wave mode to the device.

This sequence must be executed at each power-up.

You can find more details in section 7.4 of the datasheet

Kind Regards

Enrico
